Seiko SNE177 wrist watches news:
Harry Winston's Project Z timepieces have been part of the company's watch offerings since 2004. At that time, Ron Winston was still very much a part of the company, and the first Project Z watch reflected his interest in the aerospace industry, and metallurgy. Zalium, a zirconium-aluminum alloy, is very hard, strong, and highly resistant to corrosion, although it's difficult to machine, and in general, Harry Winston has held it in reserve over the last 15 years for special projects. Since 2004, there have been nine Project Z timepieces – limited series, with complications – with the last, Project Z8, in 2014. Hi folks! Please see pics below.I found this watch in a drawer at my parents house. They think it is from my Great Uncle. I am thinking this is post WWII probably in the 50's. It is 7 jewel and the case appears to be chromed (see it peeling in the pics).Just interested in identifying from a sentimental standpoint. It is kind of beat up and it doesn't want to run. I jiggle it and the movement works so it would probably just need a cleaning to get going again. Thanks for the assist!
time.gov or your G-Shock atomic watch? The reason I ask is I'm regulating another watch and so far in 8 days its been within +/- 5 seconds of where I set it according to the time.gov (first time I've used this instead of my G-Shock Atomic, BUT it's all over the place when compared to the G-Shock Atomic which updates nightly and fluxuates an average of 10 seconds a day....sometimes more sometimes less once 30 seconds when compared to a standard quartz watch.
