Dopplechronograph, help needed urgently
HELP!! I have been offered ?4,500 for my 1998 dopplechronograph 3711/3713? on the stainless steel bracelet with inner wooden box and inserts, outer box, an IWC crocodile strap, set of bracelet tools and 1 extra set links. is that a fair price, It is out of production now and I have never seen one for sale.

New guy with a question
Hello all, I have been lurking in the forums for a few days and I am glad I have found this site. I have always had an interest in watches but never pursued collecting because I was afraid I would never have the kind of coin to drop on a nice A Lange and Shone or Patek. I have been wearing a Citizen's Chronograph for at least 8 years but I always assumed that these "lesser" Asian brands get no love. After doing a bit of research I have found they are a respectable piece for a new collector and that really got me excited. I am only 28 years old, recently married and don't really want to drop $2500 plus on a new piece at the moment but I would like a respectable watch for under $1000 (and even better would be 2 nice pieces for under $1000). Anyway, to my question.....I have read several stickies but I haven't covered them all so I apologize if you cannot help me with my question but I will ask it anyway.Is there a reputable online dealer to purchase watches from? I am in Dubai every two - three months. last trip back to work I talked with a man named Farsi at Seddiqi and Sons. He quoted me a price of 5800.00 US. He assured me the watch was new. I dont have the best internet where i work. I am only trying to find out if this is a reasonable price for a V series 116710. I will be in Dubai on the 9th andleaving the 10th. Any Information regarding price and or best place to get in or out of Dubai would be much appreciated.
