Breguet 5327BR/1E/9V6 wrist watches news:
Recently I had to send my watch in for warranty repair. I was quite disappointed that a 2 month old watch needed service (broken chronograph function and bad clasp) but that's not why I'm posting this. I'd just like to share my thoughts on the SWATCH service centrein Toronto. They were very good and quite timely. I dropped the watch off personally, it was inspected and the issue was identified in about 10 minutes. I received the repaired watch back in 8 days along with the broken part for a souvenir. On top of the repair and full maintenance service, the watch was thoroughly cleaned and a lot of scratches were polished out. Everyone was very pleasant and the whole experience was very hassle free. The only thing to complain about would be their hours (only open until 4 PM) as they're in downtown Toronto and relatively difficult to get to if you work a 9-5. Anyway, that's it and I would highly recommend the service centre.
I've had 3 88's in my life, here are a few pics....OEM Honey strap.OEM Honey Strap.Europelli "baseball glove"Dial CloseupOEM RubberThe next three shots represent the culmination of my strap addiction.I owned and wore out a pair of Doc Martens boots for 15-16 years. I decided I needed to have them with me forever and what a better way to do that then to have straps made for my Panerai. I sent the Boots to "The Master" Greg Stevens in CA and he made 3 straps for me out of my boots. Black stitch, Brown stitch, and white stitch...Fantastic!!!!Thanks for looking!!!
On the glass of my Burberry watch I can see what looks like water marks. I cannot get the spots off. I've tried hot water, dish soap, and alcohol wipes. What else is there that can take off this water stain?
....does one need to take links out of bracelet of an SS 15400?Thanks very much,Clive
I havenĄŻt made any changes to my little collection in almost two years now, but I seem to be developing an itch. IĄŻm considering buying a DJ41 with Jubilee bracelet, fluted bezel, and white face. IĄŻve never owned a Jubilee, and now that it has an easylink I Ą°feel the needĄ±.I reduced my collection from 6 to 4 a few years ago (with plenty of flipping along the way) and really donĄŻt want to have more than 4 again, so I would probably sell my Explorer II. I suspect the DJ would make an interesting variation. IĄŻll put pictures in the next post (as soon as IĄŻve switched to Tapatalk), and will appreciate any opinions....
