Just got these two back from Jesse! I was able to visit him in person, so getting them back was even more special for me. Learned a lot today, thanks Jesse! I think the Constellation came out really nice! Before it was kind of rusty on the inside and it had a nasty gash at 6:After:The edges are sharper in real life than the pics, but I'm very happy with the Pie-Pan! I have second thoughts about selling it now...
I'm in the market for a new Bell & Ross BR03-92 and I now there are several fakes out there claiming to be authentic. A little research hashelped me hone in on some subtle differences that are notable and worth sharing with this community. It is my understanding that the DO NOT REMOVE SCREW the back should be located under the "U" I've included two photos of each instance where the location of the screw is under the U and two that are closer to the outside edge that I believe are fakes. The photo with the hands holding the watch are directly from Bell and Ross's website under the Boutique link. The rest are from a well known auction site that I took screen shots of. The photos are not the best, but you should be able to see what I'm referring too. I would love to hear your comments if you are owners of this model to share your opinions or supporting thoughts. I'm just wondering for future reference if putting a vintage watch through an airport scanner would magnetize the movement. In the past I've heard that since vintage watches don't have the same antimagnetic properties that modern watches have when it comes to their movements. So, I was just wondering what you guys do when you travel with a vintage.
dear community, another question for you guys - sorry for so many so far I am really drifting towards this fantastic brand, and already have the Nautilus 5980/1A. Also, I'm in the hunt and near acquiring a 5726 as well. I am thinking of another piece in sequence -- the Aquanaut 5167. That would fill my craving about sporty PPs. Now, I'm willing to hear from you guys your opinions about the two versions of 5167 - Rubber or SS bracelet. Your comments and ideas will be very much appreciated Thanks in advance!
