Inherited two oldies..one classy, one funky!
My Dad is moving soon and decided to clean out his jewelry box.He gave me two watches that belonged to my grandfather, who died in 1973, when I was four.First up, a 10kGF Girard-Perragaux manual wind:What appears to be tiny oil droplets on the inside of the crystal distort a pretty nice looking dial inside:Movement winds and runs, but my timegrapher tells me that she needs to be cleaned:And for the funky, a Paul Buhre cocktail watch:Also is pretty good shape.
