Cartier WB707231 wrist watches news:
At Baselworld last week Corum unveiled the Admiral¡¯s Cup Legend 42. The twelve-sided bezel and nautical pennants have defined Admiral’s Cup family for decades. For 2011, the collection expands with the addition of a classically elegant example. At 42mm, this new model is smaller than the collection¡¯s sporting versions, and the new design is more understated. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. The case has been redesigned with more strongly curved and rounded lugs, resulting in softer angles, while the sapphire caseback allows a view of the caliber CO395 movement inside. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it has a 42-hour power reserve and features an oscillating weight engraved with the Corum name. The dial features a vertical guilloch¨¦ motif for the steel and two-tone steel & gold versions, or barleycorn guilloch¨¦ for the 18K red gold models. The Admiral¡¯s Cup Legend 42 comes with a leather strap for the steel and steel & gold versions, or an alligator
Let's be honest, dive watches are primarily used these days as de-facto sports tool watches and increasingly for all types of situations where a formal dressing attire is not required. However, when getting a dive watch, what if you could get one that not only looks great in casual and semi-formal settings but also had the tooling capability and pedigree that would allow it to stand toe-to-toe against any dive watch in the market? Well, wait no longer, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronograph Flyback should be your next diving watch.Reintroduced last year as a modern incarnation of the famed Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe of the 50s, which was designed with the proportions and features to provide a tool watch that could also be used outside of diving activities, the Bathyscaphe model is a unique dive watch that looks modern and retro at the same time. For this release, Blancpain continued where they left off from last year's model and added what only can make this new ve
I'd been looking for an SD for a few weeks and considered several different watchs from dealers and private parties alike. I ended up buying a nice, pre-owned, K serial SD. I worked with one of our fantastic sponsors, Top Notch Watch. The experience couldn't have been easier and I'd do business with Scott Levin again in a heartbeat. Communication was probably too good if that's possible. I very likely wore out my blackberry emailing Scott during my travels in the last week! But he patiently answered every message (often from his own blackberry) and made me feel very comfortable about the buying process. We all know the deal about buying the seller and it was very easy to do so in this case. He'd obtained it from the original owner and it came as a complete package with all the goodies (both boxes, documents/manuals, original dated sales receipt, bracelet tool, diving chart and even the SD anchor). It's in really fantastic shape for a watch purchased in 02. The price was fair and most i
I just got my Zenith C6 back from the Zenith Service Center. I can only pray the work they did on the inside was better than work they did on the outside. The watch case was pristine when I sent the watch to them. When the watch was returned to me, the case back was all scratched up, and I could also see a tool mark where they opened the case back on the side next to the crown. The case back is supposed to be removed at a location between the lugs. It looks like a complete amateur worked on the watch. They even nearly destroyed my warranty card. I'm going back to the AD and make a formal complaint about the service center's quality of work. I will NEVER send another watch to the New Jersey service center. I'm furious about the terrible quality of their work, and I'm going to post this on every watch forum I'm a member of. I doubt I will ever buy another Zenith watch again because of this. The gouge in the case next to the crown looks to be unrepairable without replacing the case. I'v
I was wondering how the vintage watch collectors out there feel about about watches with refinished dials?Would you, or do you collect them, or do you feel they lose there collectability and stay away?
