Breguet 8908bb/52/864.d00d wrist watches news:
Usually, a variation on a watch we've already reviewed isn't enough to warrant another article, but in the case of the L¨¹m-Tec Combat B19, we made an exception. Why? Well, we loved the Combat B16 and Super Combat B2 when we reviewed them a little over 2 years ago. They are big, brawny watches with military styling that are simply very appealing. They also achieve a surprising level of uniqueness between their dials and coin edged cases to stand out amongst other boutique sport watches. The B16 in particular left a bit of a hole in our hearts for a rugged PVD watch with simple, aggressive styling. If you haven't yet, give that review a read as it gets into details that will be omitted for redundancy below. When I became aware that L¨¹m-Tec was making a new solid bronze version of the combat, I was immediately excited by the idea. The recent uptick in bronze watches, from the beastly Ancon Tank to the subtle Archimede Pilot and lots in between, has made me, and lots of you, fans of the mat
Never been able to see a 5711 blue dial in person so when I stumbled on an AD that could get one reasonably quickly I went for it. Weird when list price is a good deal!Obviously much different than my APs but I really like it in its own way. Interesting to go from the 44mm to the 5711 but love them both.
In Bangkok.. does anyone know where i can find nice quality straps and/or aftermarket metal bracelets for a Panerai?Cheers
Hello allI am new to these forums and very much not a watch expert, though I have the good fortune to own a nice Rolex, Daytona 6263.I am currently considering selling this watch. However, though I would like the cash it will pain me to part with the watch. So to soften the blow what I am considering is using some of the money to purchase another, cheaper Rolex -- depending on the price I can get for the 6263, I might be looking to spend around €10k - €20k.I am quite attached to the appearance of the Daytona. So my question is, are the (relatively) cheaper, newer Daytona models good value for money? And will the value appreciate over time? Thanks in advance for all replies that don't use too much expert jargon that I won't understand! :)
I have a two tone blue sub. Bought new. I never wear it. It attracts a bit much attention. Can anyone help me decide between a black bezel sub or the Kermit. I don’t care for the hulk. I saw an LV Kermit locally but passed on it. I shouldn’t have. Anyway, I welcome thoughts from Kermit owners. I might sell the blue sub outright in 10years. I’ll certainly make my money back and then some. I’m not sure why I like the Kermit. Is this anyone’s daily watch? Just asking thoughts. It’s subtle, different, durable, and flies under the radar. When I wear the bluesy sub, people look at it. It makes me uncomfortable because I keep thinking I’ll get robbed, plus I’m just not into vanity. What can I expect to pay, I wonder. The pre owned one I saw was 9200$ which I thought was insanely high. It had a few scratches , but it is before Xmas and it seems people have lost their minds paying 11k for Batman gmts. Reportedly..I find the Kermit beautiful . Real
