Breguet 3357BR/12/986 wrist watches news:
I'll get a pic up soon, but I just needed some brief info on a recent antique fair find. I spotted a fairly nice looking man's 10kt gold filled round Wittnauer, automatic with center second. I balked on it and my 16 year old son decided to purchase it. I think he did very well on it. I'm unfamiliar with Wittnauers, and was trying to date it and get some general info for him. It has the following markings on the back - 10kt gold filled case, S&W, use all proof wrench, 1200. Is the "S&W" a case manufacturer name? Now, I gathered from the backside of the watch it was not a removable caseback but rather a front loader, and the 1200 is the name/model of the tool used to remove the crystal. I have a claw type crystal remover, but have never worked with it yet. I'm also unsure of how to remove the stem on this watch to remove the movement. Thank you for any assistance,Eric
Okay so I arrive at work and the first thing I do is purchase the Omega Planet Ocean Chrono and my wifes Rolex Date Adjust for the wife. And literally a few seconds later I'm on the Bay bidding on 14 more watches. Granted I probably will only win 1 but I think I may need help. Thank god I am going on a cruise tomorrow maybe the time away from a CPU and malls will do me well. I am even thinking of leaving the Iphone at home so I am not tempted to browse online. Unless of course there are some watch shops in Cozemel or the Virgin Islands. Sigh!! I honestly can't say if I am more excited to go on the cruise or just knowing that by the time I get back I should have a package at the Post Office. I have purchased 7 watches since the 23rd of Dec. How long did it take you guys to slow down to maybe purchasing 1 watch every 6 months or so?
I just picked up this Speedy today but unfortunately it did not come with box or cards. It's a 42mm Mechanical movement with a Hesalite crystal. Serial number is 77 million. I was thinking that this was a 3570.50? Hoping someone can help me confirm this model number. Many thanks TRFs!!!. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
New old stock Omega mesh, what do you guys think?
I've seen PAM 372 is favorite in this forum. It is limited production.Do you think it is worth to buy PAM 372 for investment? will the price go up?
