GuysWhen back in the fall of last year, we first discussed the Swatch Group's plans for the development of Omega as a brand in the marketplace, many of us, I myself included were horrified at the culling of ADs, some of whom ( don't know the proportion ) had been selling Omegas for quite a while. Looking at it again and seeing that The Swatch Group were not exactly axing these ADs but giving them the opportunity to sell other brands like Longines, Rado, Tissot, Hamilton etc, it probably doesn't seem as though Swatch were simply ditching these ADs since by selling these other brands, they are effectively remaining within the group's network. It is also possible, again figures not known, that due to the more competitive prices of the watches within these other brands, these ADs may not exactly lose out monetarily even if they have sadly, lost the prestige of being Omega dealers.Am I thinking along the right lines or notor just acting like a loyal Swatch groupie? Watch performance under stress
GuysHave you subject your watches to conditions of mechanical stress before and noticed any variation in their performance?My watches have accompanied me on my morning runs and while the AT and GMT have not been affected by the constant pounding on tarmac I discovered last spring that the Speedy Pro would gain 5 to 8 seconds per run. Alarmed at this though I suspected that the old Lemania-based movement may have its' limitations, I switched to using my Seiko beater for such strenuous activity.However a few months back I started to use the Speedy again and this time there was no change to its' performance. Indeed every time out and I have since increased both my pace and distance, the Speedy would now be unaffected by the swinging movement of limbs. I'm not complaining. Just wondering how this has come to be.Y'all have a nice day pals ZIN

Order Rolex at AD - Gift Certificate Question
Hi all I am new to this Forum. I work in Manhattan and I just ordered a GMT2 Master batman at one AD: Tourneau Bryant Park. They don't have the watch in stock, so they asked me to buy a gift certificate by swiping my credit card and they told me I will get my watch as soon as they get one. They guaranteed that I can get my money back if I am not satisfied with the purchase. Now I got a receipt from them and I have a few questions.1. I already paid a lot of money by credit card with only a receipt stating gift certificate, so is it possible that they can take my money without giving me watch? 2. I paid MSRP for that watch and forgot to negotiate the price, is it possible to negotiate the price for the batman? Do you guys think if I should ask other ADs?3. My credit card has some benefits like lost protection and extended warranty. Do I need to ask them to cancel the previous charge and swipe for the actual watch to get these benefits?Thank you very much for the help! This will be my fir
