Benarus Bronze Moray brief review/initial impressions
My Bronze Moray finally arrived today after approximately a 5 1/2 month wait. It is my first of the brand. The bronze models caught my eye at 3T and when Benarus opened up reservations for a second run of them, I jumped on board. I was interested in trying out the CuSn8 case, which slowly develops a vintage patina with regular use. This case material is being used in the newly released Panerai Luminor Sub, which goes for substantially more $. Challenge Question! Vintage Movado
Now here's a challenge for you. Does anyone know how to reassemble this vintage Movado Sport from the 40's? The problem is that the anti-magnetic/dust inner cover blocks you from screwing down the setting lever screw once the stem is re-inserted which is obvious, but the problem is it has a complete hole for the stem instead of just a slot. That means it covers the back of the movement when in place and the stem is secured in a complete hole as you can see in the photo. I don't want to cut it into a slot, but I can't think of a way to do it. I'm sure one of you experts out there have run into this before and will know. Any help much appreciated!DSC02274.jpg
