Breitling A1336212/G680-rubber-black-folding wrist watches news:
A team of three mountaineers lead by a Swiss climber has arrived at their 5,200 meter base camp in Nepal to prepare for an ascent of a never-before-conquered peak. On their wrists are three Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces: a 1958 Geophysic Chronometer, a Master Compressor Extreme Lab, and a new and as yet undisclosed extreme creation prepared by the Manufacture workshops in the Vall¨¦e de Joux. The three climbers are St¨¦phane Schaffter, a Swiss alpinist who has scaled the fabled Bonatti Pillar in the Mont Blanc mountain range, Lhakpa Tenzing Sherpa (known as Apa Sherpa) who has a record 19 Everest ascents under his belt, and Little Karim Balti, who has accompanied many sportsmen on expeditions above 8,000 meters.Introduced in 2007, the Master Compressor Extreme Lab operates without oil or lubricants of any kind. Jaeger-LeCoultre heralds this achievement as the future of watchmaking. The Master Compressor Extreme Lab is also designed to operate precisely at temperatures from -40¡ã to -60¡ã Cels
H, I have a Seiko sportsmatic 5 day/date 6619-8050 from mid 60s. The minute and second hand periodically stop for 5-10minutes and then restart while the second hand keeps moving at normal rate. I checked the cannon pinion under the hour wheel and the tube part is tight on the gear. Minute and hour hands move normally with the crown stem for time setting. I cannot see anything else causing the problem and think it is further inside the movement. Any ideas or help on this?? Thanks
I love that there is a Hamilton watch forum. This is the only one I know of. And therefore, am pretty confident that you guys love Hamiltons as well. So, here is the question. Can we link a sales post of our own from another forum of a Hamilton? I ask because I would like to sell a couple and would just assume that real Hamilton lovers get first crack. I never sell on this site, but I sell on another forum fairly often. So, if this thread breaks rules, mods, go ahead and delete it and I won't take is personally at all.If linking is legal, let me know.
is there any good magazines in the uk for watches ?
Hi, wondered if they make the new moonwatch with a tapered bracelet like the old ones?? I really like it but dont want the same bracelet as I already have on my 2592 Seamaster....hope that makes sense!
