Breitling A1336212/G680-croco-burgundy-folding wrist watches news:
People often wonder just how good their watches are. A quality seal can help provide an answer: it shows that the watch has passed a test for its timekeeping ability and, in some instances, the quality of its finishing. COSC and the Geneva Seal are by far the best-known issuers of quality certificates, but there are many others. Some, like these two, test watches from multiple brands; others, such as the Patek Philippe Seal. Here¡¯s a look at 11 quality-testing systems.COSC Certificate:Switzerland¡¯s Contr?le Officiel Suisse des Chronom¨¨tres, or COSC, is the best-known watch-certifying organization. The COSC procedure lasts 15 days. Watch companies send their movements to COSC uncased. COSC then assigns each an identification number and its employees apply a generic dial with reference points that help an optical sensor track the watch¡¯s seconds hand. Each movement is wound mechanically (automatic movements must remain rotor-less), then given a rest period of 24 hours before testing. The
Case in stainless steel with a stainless steel link bracelet. Bezel set in stainless steel. White dial with luminous hands and markers of time of black rod. Arabic numeral appears at position 12. Markers minutes around the outer rim. Date displays between the 4 and the 05 position.
I would like to ask this question to fellows forum members because I have had the opportunity of trying both models (latest and the older model with the AP logo at 12), and found the new butterfly clasp less comfortable then the previous version. I personally find it bulky for this type of watch and prefer the thinner profile of the deployante buckle. This is only one aspect and was wondering what your opinions are about these 2 beautiful watches.Thank you all for your time and consideration. All the best,gb
Just purchased my first Breitling this evening. A nice Aerospace with a UTC. I have always been attracted to the Aerospace and the Emergency for purely aesthetic and technology reasons. The UTC was something else that set it apart on this timepiece.Better images later. Tell me what you think.
I had the short hand model and it didn't last long here. I never fully connected with it. I am interested in the revised, long hand, blue luminescent hour numeral model. I understand these, and many steel Rolex watches are not so easy to find. I have a local Rolex dealer, AD, who has one. Is finding one indeed somewhat difficult these days? And, is the new model more charming than the one it replaced? Is it a fabulous watch? Any opinions on it are appreciated. Thank you!
