Pierre Jacques Appointed CEO of De Bethune
David Zanetta, President of the Board of Directors and his co-founder, Denis Flageollet, Director of Production, have announced the appointment of Pierre Jacques as Chief Executive Officer of De Bethune. Jacques will officially take up his responsibilities effective March 1, 2011. Jacques holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and in 2000 he co-founded GMT magazine. Since January 2010, he had been serving as Branch Manager of Les Ambassadeurs Gen¨¨ve, and he also headed the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix as director of the organizing companymenting on the appointment, Mr. David Zanetta said: “The arrival of Mr. Pierre Jacques marks a new stage in De Bethune’s international development.”

Wednesday, 1/23 wrist check
Today is Kaffeeklatsch day and as always, I'm wearing the watch that the other memebers gave me. I haven't been getting out much in the last several weeks, so this watch on Wednesdays and the 8926 around the house are the only watches that I've been wearing, except for short forays to the store and whatnot, when I will just for kicks put on another.

Strongly considering my first PAM as next watch....321 is at the top of my list
Today I learned that my wonderful fianc¨¦ will be gifting me a watch as a wedding present (I knew she was the one ). So to make a long story short, I know nothing about pams and a minty 321 from reputable seller just caught my eye. Is this a good variant in terms of being A first Pam? Resale value? Anything else I should know about it or any other similar models I should also be considering?Thanks in advance

Looks like the Sub didn't get the 32xx movement. Buy now or wait until 2019
I've been putting off buying a SS Sub for the past month or two since we were so close to Baselworld at the time and I thought for sure a new Sub would be released with the updated 32xx movement. It looks like the 114060 will go unchanged for 2018. If you were considering a no-date Sub, would you buy now, or wait to see if 2019 models get an update? I am pretty happy with my current lineup which includes a Speedmaster as my daily. I'd love a Sub at some point, though
