private label hamilton 930
I inherited my GF's private label pocket watch, I am trying to learn as much as I can about this watch, here is what I know so far.The watch is an open faced 18s lever set pocket watch. The case is made by Crescent Watch Case co., serial number: 89225, it appears to be Nickel. There are no further marks on the case except for some very small marks that appear to service marks.The movement appears to be a Hamilton 930 grade, SN 34514, this is a fairly early SN, puts it between 1893-95, the face is marked E.P. Sundberg, a Fargo ND jeweler. Inside on the back of the movement it is marked as follows:the SN: 34514, the words "safety pinion", E.P. Sundberg in fancy script is engraved, along with Fargo N. Dak. Other than the above, the only other marks on the movement is the small "S" on the mount for the escapement...there may be other marks but none that I can see.I have looked on the net for examples of this watch, have found nonehave been able to find a 930 with PL marks, but none f

Overstock has many watches on eBay for sale. What irks me is they ship worldwide but excludes Alaska and Hawaii. I guess they can ship to China but not to Hawaii? Then I came across an interesting watch under vintage Seikosha and the seller from India also ships world wide but also excludes Alaska and Hawaii

Navitimer 50th Anniversary
I had been looking for a Navitimer on a bracelet for some time but very few seem to come up for sale on the pre-owned market. Last March I was lucky enough to find a 50th Anniversary Edition A41322 I bought it even thgough it had a few problems including a sticking stem and was in need of a service.I have always liked this version because it has the old Breitling doublewing logo (first used on the Navitimer around 1960) of two planes flying in close formation. The case and bracelet are brushed in contrast to the shiny polished finish usually found on modern Navitimers. The movement is the B.41 an ETA 2892-A2 base with Dubois Depraz chronograph module.Anyway here it is many months after it went to Breitling!

Hello EveryoneI am desperately trying to track down an 'Escape Wheel' for an Omega Calibre ( Caliber ! ) 344I have a superb condition XL 36mm 'bumper' Seamaster 2765 / 2764 that needs this part to bring it back to life.Does anyone have any suggestions / pointers or......... Does anyone possess one in their 'Magic Cave' of watch parts - For a price...obviously ?All assistance greatfully accepted & acknowledged !Thanks
