- Beautiful watch!! Automatic movement is superb (7s26) plenty of reserve power. Took it diving to 110 ft for a bounce dive for requal and it didn't lose a second and watertight integrity is sound! Great Deal!!

Stowa Airman automatic date
I really love the simplicity of a pilot watch. Any opinions on this Stowa Airman automatic date? An IWC pilot with leather strap runs about $3400 before discount. I could pick it up for about $2800. This Stowa lists for about $660, a huge difference. Anyone own one? Curious about the quality of workmanship, materials, accuracy, etc. TIA

I just pulled the trigger on a Lucien Piccard Celano (Unisex), and it was a lot of watch for the money. I got it from thewatchery.com on a special sale for $299 + shipping to Australia. Shipping time was SpecsSize: 40mm wide x 11mm thickCrystal: Domed sapphire, no ARCase/Bracelet: Black ceramic (zirconium dioxide) & polished steelWater Resistance: 50m w/ screw down crownMovement: ETA 2671 or ETA 2824, not sure which.CommentsCase: Very rich black sheen, really gives the watch a luxury look. Nicely complimented by the steel detailing, unfortunately the steel does compromise an otherwise super scratch resistant watch. The slim profile allows it to fit under any sleeve. The caseback is a simplistic brushed steel panel, it does the job.Bezel: 60 clicks and it aligns with the markers perfectly (PERFECTLY), not even my Oris Diver Date does that. The bezel has a beautiful ceramic insert surrounded by steel details. Unfortunately the bezel is hard to grip and has almost no spring action - h
