Breitling R29360 wrist watches news:
For the first chronograph covered in The Value Proposition, we take a look at a solid offering from a brand we haven’t covered too much here on HODINKEE: Laco. Founded in 1925, the German company gained fame for its pilot’s watches produced in the 1940s. Its current range of watches includes a number of chronographs inspired by the brand’s historic models, with a few modern design updates. If you’ve been looking for a chronograph with traditional looks, but without faux patina or dramatic detailing, the Laco Chronograph Watch “New York” could be a good bet. It also doesn’t hurt that it comes in under $3,000. 2 OF 6 The Valjoux 7750 is a veritable workhorse movement that can be found in many modern chronograph watches. First, a bit about the movement: the Laco Chronograph Watch “New York” uses a Valjoux 7750. This self-winding calibre was introduced in 1974, using a coulisse-lever design in lieu of the more traditi
I have been working hard on this one and finally have something to show. This will be our first waterproof dive strap. Inspired by our Original Sailcloth Strap, this strap was designed to be the most comfortable dive strap on the market. Coupled with great looks we hope we have a real winner. The prototype buckle has the wrong font and size of our brand name so please excuse that. The production version will be much smaller and the font will not be italic. The strap will be offered in 22 and 24mm and in the following stitch colors:*White *Black *Steel *Gold *Orange *Red *BluePlease chime in and let me know your thoughts. Best,Todd @ Bradystraps
Hi guys I'm looking to buy my first "nice" watch and want to make sure I get it right the first time so I won't have to buy a new one in a long time. I entered the watch market looking to only spend $200, but I then extended it to $250 and now looking at watches I may extend it all the way to $350 depending on how far that extra $100 takes me. This is where you guys come in and tell me what you think about the watches I'm looking at and if you can justify spending the extra $100.Thanks so much in advance!!Here's one for $262Citizen-Eco-Drive-Perpetual-Chronograph-BL5250-53LAnother for $255Citizen-Eco-Drive-Titanium-Chronograph-AT0400-57EAnd here are the watches in the $350 Neighborhood. Let me know what you guys think about these ones and if its worth the $100 jump from the other 2 watches. The Calibre 8700 for $356Citizen-Eco-Drive-Perpetual-Calendar-BL8000-54LAnd lastly, this one for $330Citizen-Eco-Drive-Perpetual-Chronograph-BL5350-59LTHank you again!!

Just wanted to say hello as I am new TRF pledge member...I have lots of hobbies and interests and have always had an appreciation for luxury time pieces. I am at a point in my life where I would like to learn more about watches and add to my small watch collection. There are six or so Rolexes that have caught my eye including: Hulk, Kermit, Batman, DeepSea D-Blue Dial, new Daytona C white dial, and the new Skydweller blue dial... just to name a few. Also have some strong attraction to Patek and JLC time pieces as well. So hopefully over the course of several years some of these time pieces will end up in my watch case.I just finished reading Collecting Luxury Watches by Leonard Lowe on our cruise last December. I enjoyed it and gained some insight into the watch world. I am looking for other good books on this subject if anyone has ones to suggest.I am also a big fan of Ben Clymer and his Hodinkee videos on youtube, especially the one featuring John Mayer. https://.youtube/watch?v=a
