Yesterday in Monaco, the Only Watch 2013 auction was held and the results are in. The event is meant to raise money for a medical charity, to which 100% of the proceeds go. Rolex on Rubber
When I got my Rolex I bought a rubber/silicon strap on eBay for a few bucks to see if I¡¯d like the look. At the time I tried it and didn¡¯t like it at all so I stuck with the TT Jubilee bracelet until today when I tried the rubber again and this time I really like it. I think I¡¯ll keep it this way for a little while, maybe send my Jubilee off to the guy in Hong Kong to take care of the stretch. Here¡¯s how my 16713 looks on rubber. After venturing into different brands and getting annoyed that my 1980s Rolex kept better time (not mentioning names), I decided that my collection, going forward, would focus on Rolex.
