Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. There is so much great info here, so I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say regarding my issue...I am currently on assignment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and while driving down the street the other day I saw a giant Breitling sign. I have been very casually in the market for an Emergency for a few years now, but since I have never been to an actual Breitling store before, I figured there was no time like the present. They have both the Emergency and the Emergency Mission. The dealer quoted me $4,933.00 for an Emergency Mission with a rubber strap. I prefer the look of the Mission over the standard Emergency, however I guess the real question is...because the Emergency mission has been discontinued, does this make it more valuable or less valuable? Today I stopped by to order an AP RO 15300 at my AD.He showed me a letter from AP indicating a price increase as of January 1stthe price is going up by $1,000 USD on this particular model. It also talked about a revised dealer margin scheme, of course I couldn't read that part...So, buyers beware, if you're in the market for one grab it now!
Gents, After years of waiting, reading and saving - first a downpayment for an apartment and now a DW (A Rolex of course)I started looking at the 116610LN, then a vintage 1601 and finally the 214270 - Cant really decided, and was hoping for a recommendation for a first Rolex. Cant wait to start my journey! Any input would be highly appriciatedCheers and enjoy the weekend!
