I got started 1978-80 with some collectible trading during 18 m0nths of noncompete contract agreement I actually honored. This was during gold inflation and got me started with gold watch accumulation; and a general interest in everything about them. my automatic wont stay winding
if you read my last post about my second hand falling off on my lucien piccard then you'll love this. I recieved my replacement watch FINALLY, and now it won't stay running. I've had it on my wrist for quite some time now and have set the time and re-set the time and re-set the time, only to have it go for about a minute then the automatic gear just stops!! Is it junk or am I missing something?? The manual didn't say i had to wind it, so what am I missing here!!?? its a lucien piccard 26560sssl

Hi, I have been offered a Patek 5167 Aquanaut, used, 2014, approx 20k USD(Is it above the boutique msrp price?) Is this a good deal? Or should I just pass on it? Is the Patek Aquanaut supply demand situation is similar to the current Rolex Sport Models?Any advice would be really appreciated as it will be my first PatekThanks!

16613,16713, or 16623. I can't make up my mind.
I want to add a professional/sports Rolex to my collection. My problem is, I can't decide which one I finally want to buy!! 16613, blue or black really doesn't matter to me. The TT Sub is a great want, and it's a very popular watch. The only thing I require is that it has a gold through clasp. I found a full set (blue) that I really like at what I feel is a fair price. But I also really like the 16713. 16713 .. My love for aviation draws me to the 16713. It's a really cool watch and I like the 24 hour hand and the ability to keep time in separate time zones. 16623 .. I love the Rolex Day Date and Datejust models because they are classy and elegant. They are timeless, and for me, they can be worn with Brioni or jeans and a tee shirt. The subs and gmt's can't (at least they can't for me) So what I love about the 16623 is that it has the rugged appeal of the subs and gmt's, but they also have the class and elegance of the DD's and the DJ'sSo I can't make up my mind. I want my cake and eat
