I was flicking through some magazine and seen the omega seamaster PO advertised instantly falling in love with its beauty, it's taken me 10 weeks of effect to save ?2000 to buy this fine watch, but now I have the money I'm thinking seriously I should buy an even better omega costing twice the price and taking another 10 weeks to save, perhaps the Broad Arrow or 18k Aqua Terra? This is the first expensive watch costing over ?350 I have brought and maybe the last so I don't want to go for second fiddle, I've got the itch to buy the PO tomorrow but really like the Broad Arrow,Thing is I have to be totally modest if my parents ask how much I spent on a watch, they will just call me irresponsible again so the 18k Aqua Terra might be out the question for now but. Is 4k to much for a first watch?Should I save and hold back the itch or buy the PO? decisions decisions!Omega Broad Arrow gents watch - 321.93.42.50.13.001Omega Seamaster Professional Planet Ocean Mens Watch | 2200.51.00
I have an Omega watch that belonged to my grandfather (I believed he purchased in 1938 in Italy) .It is a gold large watch with roman numerals. There is a serial number on the movement (9024503) and there is another number on the plate between the movement and the backing gold plate (9835675), unfortunately I lost the winding crown and the perspex cover is scratched. I cant work out how to attach photo (manage attachments comes up with a security error).I would be grateful for any information and possibly info on somebody that could help with the winding crown. The watch was kept by my mother from 1966 to 2000 and was in working condition prior to losing the crownmany thanks
Hey all, in a completely impulsive ebay purchase, I bought this watch. I don't really know all too much about it. It's a Russian Shturmanskie watch that the seller dates to 1949 and according to the picture, it appears to be a "Yuri Gagaran" model. I'm not 100% sure if the watch is a fake (franken) or not due to the hands but I really love the design so I thought why not? I attached the (lousy) picture of the watch from the Ebay ad as well as a picture from the internet that I believe to be the same model. If anyone can tell me anything about the watch I'd really appreciate it! I'd also love to see some links to additional info since I haven't been successful googling. Thanks all!
Hello everyone,I love the first omega in space speedy, and wish my budget would allow me to get one. In the meantime I have a 1967 ref 168.022 seamaster chrono with 19mm lugs that I believe would fit the FOIS leather strap. Any idea where and if I can purchase one? I can't foresee any issues fitting but I may not be as knowledgeable as everyone on here. Thanks everyone
