In February of this year, Lange revealed a limited edition 1815 in honor of the brand's founder. It was made of solid platinum with a black dial, and was made in only 200 pieces. That seems to have been a big hit, so another limited edition in honor of F.A. Lange has been revealed, now with a silver dial – but in Lange's proprietary honey gold. 1 OF 2 This limited edition piece will be very much the same as the platinum F.A. Lange 1815 – a 40 mm case and the beautiful manually wound caliber L051.1 with a power reserve of 55 hours. Each of the 200 watches will be engraved with a serial number xxx/200. This special edition will retail for $33,500 and while very similar to the platinum watch, there is something special about a honey gold Lange. What is your opinion on Longines Ultra-Chron watches?
I was thinking of branching my vintage collection out a bit. The Ultra-Chron series interests me, mainly because of the 17 jewel, 36,000 bph movement.I think, in theory, a 36,000 bph watch would be a nice addition to the collection, but I know little about the movement or the watch in general.For those in the know, what do you think of the movement?

Omega pricing and model advice.

16600 vs. 116600
I've been doing some poking around as I look to find the right Sea Dweller as my next watch (and by next I suppose I mean the moment I find it; I'm not exactly patient always).I'm noticing in the pre-owned market that the 16600 market is soft while the 116600 market is fairly strong. Aside from the steel vs. ceramic bezel, what is driving this big difference? I love the look of both watches, and it's not as though I plan on re-selling the watch anyway, but I'm still wondering why the 116600 seems to be in demand and the 16600 seems to be being avoided. This makes the prices for 116600's fairly reliable and consistent but it makes it very difficult to properly assess a 16600 to determine what is a fair price (they seem to sit here in the classifieds without ever moving really).What gives? Should I even be thinking about the price/demand differences in these watches or is there a clear reason to opt for the 116600 over the 16600?Thanks for helping!
