RGM 300 Professional Diver Mother-of-Pearl Dial Watches
This is potentially the newest version of the RGM 300 Professional Diver's watch. The 300 watch important as being American RGM's first diving watch, and most agree that it was well done. It is a sober looking tool watch with cohesive lines, and a thick parts the communicate strength and quality. The original 300 Diver had lots of merit, including different dial options and a cool Blancpain Fifty Fathoms like canvas strap, or a metal bracelet as seen in the images. The watch has an ETA 2892 automatic movement that sits inside of the massively thick stainless steel case that is water resistant to 2,500 feet (750 meters) and is 42.3mm wide. Everything on the watch looks easy to operate including the large crown and easy to grip rotating bezel.So what is new for the RGM 300 watch? The mother of pearl dials of course. I have to admit that I've (on more than one ocassion) thought about selling my entire collection and simply collecting DJ's. Think about it! There's so many different variations - different dials, bezels, bracelets...and compared to the sport models, they're relatively cheap! Particularly if you look at vintage DJs....$2000.00 buys a lot of watch in the vintage DJ world. Sure...they're only water resistant to 330ft., but what average Joe needs more than that? I certainly don't. So have you ever thought about?

Today this WWII-era Cushion is on my wrist. Although considered scarce, I've seen ALOT of them on eBay in the last year or so, however very few with the seconds bit at 9. The 1920's version was either solid 14K or 14K gold filled, while the WWII version was a 10K gold filled case. There was no crystal on it when I got it and going without one for a long time caused the dial rash, but I decided against having the it restored.
