Oris 01 635 7595 4194-07 4 25 01 wrist watches news:
The lether strap bug has gotten hold of me, and I recently ordered several leather straps with tang style buckles. I now realize these straps can be fitted with aftermarket deployant clasps and was wondering:1. Which is better - single fold or butterfly? and2. Any recomendation on brand/sourche of deployant clasps?
I bought this new in the late 1980's. It was my first nice watch, and I paid full retail of $395 - seems like a lot now for a quartz without a sapphire crystal! It doesn't have a second hand, which I sometimes prefer on a quartz watch. I like the moon phase feature on this one, I think it's classier looking than a lot of moon phases. It has a push button above the crown on the right that you can use to adjust the moon phase if it gets out of synch, and the crown at the 9 sets the second time zone. I better not gain any weight in my wrists, because I don't know what I did with the removed links, after all, it was sized over 20 years ago! Also, most subdial date watches are so small I can't read the date, and this one's no exception. I could read them just fine when I bought it new - they must have shrunk over the years, it couldn't be that my eyesight isn't what it used to be, could it? IMG_9397.jpgIMG_9394.jpg
Back to Omega PO. The orange NATO just makes it work. Later in the day, Orient Star Retrograde Day Date took over. Tonight, back to something that lights up the darkness!Omega SMP is more subtle, but still impressive lume!Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I was removing the bracelet this morning and my dog came up behind and bumped into me and a spring bar shot across the room. I need to get a new one and want to get the correct size. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
At first glance, it looks like a Coke bezel. I like it and prefer it over the new Pepsi. Oh well....not a fan of TT or RG.
