Hi guys-One of our clients just sent us this beautiful Universal Geneve Golden Shadow. Automatic movement, 18K gold. I believe it was the thinnest automatic movement when it was introduced.Just starting to do a bit of research to determine the appropriate price, etc.Any thoughts would be helpful...or feel free just to enjoy the pic! It's a great looking watch...and according to the WSJ, vintage is making a comeback! We blogged about it as well.Thanks...and enjoy!
Any thoughts on benefits between these two? Longevity, ruggedness, value over time? Thanks in advance....BRD.
Long time lurker here. Had my PAM372 for a long time already. It came with the distressed strap and calf. First thing I did was buy the PAM422 assolumente strap. It was my favorite for a long, long time. That and the OEM panerai rubber strap when going near water. I ended up getting a new assolumente strap when the old one snapped with only 2 years of near daily usage. That's when the boutique showed me a new one they had. This is my new favorite. It's the strap that comes on the PAM605I love the color of this. Here's the replacement Asso that I don't even wear anymore. SadThis is the old one before it snapped, maybe that's why it snapped lol.I love straps! Please excuse some of the tacky photos. I feel ashamed. Same reason why I don't take photos of my watch in public anymore lol.
Just got the call from my AD that my time on the waitlist is over! I've wanted the BLNR for a while (read 2 years) but never really could decide if it would get the wrist time it deserved. I usually wear AP's, or a YG DD40, but I feel like the BLNR will be an awesome everyday watch that will still feel like I'm wearing a special piece but may be a bit more under the radar then the aforementioned watches. Anyway, just wanted to share my enthusiasm with you guys and get an idea if anybody else chooses to wear a SS sports watch over a precious metal Rolex or other higher priced watch...I am hoping it doesn't disappoint!!
