Vacheron Constantin has just announced that for the 2016 SIHH, they’ll be introducing four new models into the Métiers d'Art Fabuleux Ornements collection. The collection was first introduced two years ago as part of the larger Métiers d'Art collection of timepieces, and basically, they’re intended as a celebration of the decorative arts of different cultures, with Ottoman architecture, Chinese embroidery, Indian manuscript, and French lace. These arts are interpreted through engraving and openworking, as well as through enameling techniques, including cloisonné and champlevé, and guilloché engraving techniques.The new references use the same basic design motifs as the models introduced in 2014, but with variations in colors as well as new case materials. please help me with my future purchase.
i havent posted much on here for the last couple of months to avoid temptation.I am however have been thinking of what holiday present I want to get myself and hence plotting my next purchase. I currently have a constellation with white MOP. I really love this watch and I am thinking that I want a similar one (automatic) with colored (pink or black maybe? if it exists) and diamond marker I went to omega's website and did online researched. The only thing I could find is quartz mini pink MOP with diamond marker or automatic pink MOP with diamond bezel. Does my dream watch exist? Has anyone ever seen one and know the model number?thanks

What watch has surprised you most?
Simple question that can be answered in many ways. I'm going to answer for a watch that I initially had decided to return and have since kept and fallen in love for. The watch I'm referring to is my Movado Military. When I opened the watch box I was underwhelmed. It was light and for some reason the optimism I had before arrival just wasn't there. So, back in the box it went, I called the dealer and requested an return number. For some reason I waited a day or two before sending it. After those two days had passed, I took it back out and put it on the wrist with all of the plastic on it, and let my wife look at it. She loved it and the more I wore it around, so did I. I think the initial box opening, I had fallen victim to what a lot of people have when it comes to Movado. I was expecting more than what the watch claimed it would do.
