Cartier WM50460M wrist watches news:
After a 13 hour flight, a 2.5 hour wait, and a 3 hour bus ride, I am home, unpacked, and ready for some rest. I thought I'd change to one of my watches that didn't make the trip. This photo booth software on my Mac doesn't produce high quality photos, but it's easy...
Any confirmation to a few rumors that have been tossed around regarding a price increase in North America really soon, like January 2010?Also, I know it's too soon to tell but is the Exp II going to be replaced?I heard several times that it was being discontinued.Don't you just love rumors?
I picked up my watch at Torneau today, 1 day earlier than when Rolex said it would be ready. Needless to say I was nervous about what I would see. I am pleased to say that my watch looks like brand new again!!!!!!!! Rolex did a wonderful job that I couldn't be happier with! The bezel is brand new and the case is finished the way it was from the factory when I got it 6 years ago! The bracelet looks like new as well! I am calling the woman at Rolex that was helping me through this ordeal tomorrow to thank her personally for all of her help. The onlt thing I am concerned about, is that Torneau just gave me a receipt for the service and wrote 18 month warranty on it. I did not get official Rolex paperwork , or a service list of what was performed on my watch. I will ask about this tomorrow, but I am assuming Rolex keeps a record of this for future reference. What do you guys think? Oh and by the way, I had to pay the original estimate for the work, nothing for the new bezel or
My mother gave me this LeCoultre womens watch she said belonged to my Great-Grandmother. What I am trying to find out is, how old it is and what it's worth. I do know that my mother had it serviced in the mid 90's and that it works now. It has a hand wound mechanical movement and what looks to be the original box. I am fairly certain that the bracelet is not original. It says "USA" and 10k g.f. on the back. The watch back says 10k gold filled as well. I have no other papers except the service slip from 90's. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!!!Sorry for the poor photos. The watch is very small and I don't have Macro.
My Seamaster GMT fell off my bedside table and is now running approx. + 5 mins per day. My question is...should I send it in to The Swatch Group or use an independent? It is coaxial but only 6 years old so not due for service for another 4 years. What should I do?
