We knew it was only a matter of time before some of the big names in the electronics industry dove into the burgeoning smartwatch category, and Samsung is the second of the big guys to announce, after Sony's SmartWatch 2, with their recently introduced Galaxy Gear smartwatch that debuted today.As you can guess from its name, the Galaxy Gear is part of Samsung's larger Galaxy lineup of mobile devices, and it shares some of the design language those other devices have. Looking for a new Orient watch - suggestions?
Hello,I decided to buy myself a new watch for Christmas. My budget is $450 maximum, preferably closer to $300. I'm looking to buy a watch that stands out and adds some diversity to my "collection," since I like to switch up which watch I wear depending on my mood or the occasion.I currently own a Seiko 5 on a brown leather band and an Orient CEM6W001D2, which is my go-to watch.Initially, I was planning to buy one of the new Mako USA's, probably the model with the white dial. It's priced at $225, which is within my budget, and has a lot of nice features for the price (e.g., sapphire crystal). I also think a diver would really stand out in terms of what I ordinarily wear.But then I noticed that Orient is having a 40% holiday sale, and now I'm second guessing myself. It might make more sense to buy a more expensive watch at a lower price due to the sale. Otherwise, I pass up that opportunity. However, there are so many options, I don't even know where to start.What would you guys recommen

Looking to buy one of these pre-loved. Anyone have any comments on this watch? I have done my research and this is the best one for me at the price I am willing to spend. Rolex Daytona would be great but just isn't in the budget. I basically narrowed it down to Tudor and Omega. Omega wins out because for my taste I think the white dial broad arrow is so stunning. Would love to hear thoughts on this watch (plus and minuses) from any owners. Thanks in advance.

16570 Crystal Question
Over the last almost 6 months, I have had been on a roller coaster of issues on my 16570 service. Looking back at it, I would have done a variety of things differently, but it was an important lesson learned....So after getting my watch back I instantly realize something is off. Is this crystal mounted too high? What are your guys thoughts....I would hate to send it back..again..but this does not look correct.
