Seiko SKK696 wrist watches news:
I'm really not a big collection type guy - I prefer to have a small number of watches that I regularly wear. So I, from time to time, give thought as to what my ideal line up before I'd say "I'm done buying watches."I think I'm actually pretty close - I've got three which I think are permanent fixtures for me:My 16613 Submariner: A great watch for all ocassions, and about my favorite watch in my collection:My Daytona: I just love it - dresses up, dresses down. And it has all the lastest improvements from Rolex inside and out:My Red 1680: This one has more collector appeal for me, but I still wear it quite often:To this line up, I'd like to add a yellow gold Day Date (gold dial, stick markers), a TT GMT IIc, and perhaps a white gold or platinum Day Date with the ice blue diamond dial. Then I think I would be "done."You?
I wish everyone in the US and expats abroad who celebrate Thanksgiving a wonderful holiday!!!
Hello WTF!Does anyone here have any experience with DeBaufre? I saw them mentioned in an answer to a post earlier today. I was not aware of them, so I took a look at their web-site.They appear to be pretty amazing watches for the prices. That said, they do appear to be a little lacking in some areas. Their dive watches don't have the best application of Super Luminova I have ever seen, but decent movements with solid looking cases.I would love to hear about any experiences WTF members have had with the watches and the company. i try to learn from the experiences of others, both good and bad. Thanks in advance. You guys are the best teachers of horology I have found.best wishes,Jeff
I very rarely see anybody with a 5726. I think the dial is more filled out and interesting than the 5711, which makes it more appealing to me. I would also find the extra complications very useful. Are there known problems with the 5726 movement that makes people stay away? Or is it simply that it's more expensive and therefore has a much smaller market?I've been considering some sort of Nautilus variation for some time, and I keep coming back to the 5726 as the one that I like the most.
I maybe considering a pam617 just wonder how durable is the coating compared to ceramic ? If any owner had any issues with DLCThx
