Breguet 5827BB/12/9Z8 wrist watches news:
I need some advise please. I have a vintage Omega Seamaster from 1979, its in top condition, BUT some how moisture has gotten inside and is seaming up the glass, i thought it had dried out, but its back. I have no idea how it happened, but i live in New York and it has not stopped raining here for weeks now, moisture is everywhere.Anyway, can anyone recommend a solution, i know the best thing to do is take it straight to a repair store, NYC has some great places but also its fair share of dodgy places, Can anyone recommend a great repair store? Also im on my way to vegas for a few days so i wont be around, Can anyone recommend a temporary solution to stop any further damage?Thank so much, as always i appreciate all your help.Cozzer
Very curious to see how this one goes down.I am in love with both, but can only justify one of these.I would just rather the next after one of these be a different time piece to diversify the collection.I think the AP gives a better statement as it speaks louder, and is more obvious (bigger presence). The bracelet is more noticeable though it doesn't have PCL, the white gold screws on the bezel, etc.The nautilus is more discrete, more subtle, and also a stunner.Which will it be and why?Neither of these pics are mine btw.

Had the chance to try on the 5524 and honestly loved it in person. The dial is very well balanced, and the the color is just right - a very subtle grayish blue. There's not much I can add that hasn't already been said elsewhere on this forum, except for that the new buckle was designed to look like the buckles on the over-shoulder straps that keep fighter pilots locked into their seats. The Singapore Business Times on 1 March reported that Rolex Singapore has written to its ADs to stop charging a premium for their watches. Although no punishment is mentioned for ADs that continue with premiums, I'm guessing they run the risk of losing the Rolex distributorship if caught.Although all of us would welcome this, there are problems, the most obvious being that if ADs in other countries still charge a premium, Singapore ADs will simply send the desirable models overseas. If so, then local customers might end up being worse off because waiting lists here have little value. I've also been told that some ADs have told their customers that they can buy the desirable models such as the S/S Daytona at full MSRP - provided they buy another watch at the same time. This is mentioned in the full report, which is attached below. MOD EDIT: Don't print out whole articles unless you wrote them yourself and own the copyright. Just provide a link. Thanks. And FYI, this story has been rep
