TAG Heuer CV5041 wrist watches news:
The one with the aviator watch comparison article. There were numerous watches in it and .........the Speedmaster wasn't It is clearly THE ONE that has been flight proven.Maybe they thought it would run away with the prize. .
but today i thought I'd surprise them........:)What's going on, where is everybody?Ok, looks like someone is working in the body shop..:)He's shocked to se me this early..:)So far so good..:)If the Everflex comes in it can be ready tomorrow..:)
Went window shopping yesterday at Somerset and found that a big jewelry store is closing and have great watch deals: 30% + an additional 20% on almost all of their watches in stock. Practically unheard of for brand new watches anywhere.I was really tempted but I was not really looking to buy at this time.
My dad was very practical, never cared about expensive "things." I inherited two watches from him. A SS mid 1950's Benrus Wristalarm, and a mid 1940's 14k gold Hamilton tank style watch (unknown model). He bought the Benrus himself, but received the Hamilton from his parents as either a HS, or college graduation present. Both watches run great but haven't been serviced in about 25 years. I've been using a watch repair man in PA recently. I decided to ship the watches to him for servicing, but decided to ship them seperately in case of loss/theft. I shipped the Benrus USPS Priority Mail (along with a Breitling) yesterday and insured them for $1,000.00. Am I insane or just cautious??? I'd hate to lose both at the same time.
Hey all,Been off for a while but the itch for novelty is back.My collection is listed in my sig, a blue, green, and white dial. I love it.I do have an itch for a black dial watch though. Any thoughts?Open to rolex/ap suggestions. Partial to anything on rubber strap, but dont mind bracelets. May trade my 116613 for this purchase.
