Breitling AB041012/C835-ocean-racer-blue-deployant wrist watches news:
I dropped by one of my AD's today to see if they had a DDII, I was yet to try one on.They did indeed have one and I loved the size but I think I can wait for the DatejustII in stainless I am not going to drop nearly 30grand on a watch 8 to 10 grand maybe.I also tried on a steel white Daytona which they had in the case, probably the same one they had when I was there a few months ago. It has been my grail for quite awhile but it is slowly losing its appeal to me and here's why. I have a Speedmaster moon watch that I love, everytime I put on a Daytona the dial seems too small. It seems like putting a chronograph dial in a 40mm case makes it too busy which makes the dimensions seem wrong to me. I love the dimensions of the other 40mm Rolex's but I am just having trouble getting past this on the Daytona. IMHO they should have put the DDII and DJII in a 40mm case and the Daytona's in a 41mm or 42mm. Am I crazy? Is it just me or do others see what I am talking about?
Looking to purchase a pre owned, or new old stockAuthentic, with papers etc old style Air King 34 mm, with a black dial/Arabic 3/6/9, smooth bezel,Oyster band...Stainless steel Can anyone please offer assistance?!?!
I've been checking out the SKX007 and can't find much information about the different model numbers (ie. skx007k2 vs. the other models). I looked around for a skeiko diver handbook to no prevail. I'm sure you guys have the answers. I'm really leaning toward the skx007 over the citizen nighthawk. There's just something about the simplicity that I love. Plus, they look pretty incredible on a NATO/ZULU. Did I mention the bang for the buck? Also, if any of you can't point me in the direction of a trusted AD/seller online who have reasonable prices, I would greatly appreciate it.
I don't remember a recent thread on watch thickness so how thick is too thick?Since I tend to wear 40-43mm watches, over 15 is where is starts to get to thick for me.With my vintages, all around 33-36mm, under 9mm seems to be the magic #.So let us know, how thick is too thick for a watch for you.
A question: Why did you choose Omega? They are rather rare (I often go weeks w/o seeing one, and I live in a big city). Most people dont -appear- to know much about them, though the ads seem to be fairly common. Just curious why you chose one? I love that they are different. To me, wearing one is like driving a Morgan: Those who know, know. Those who don't, stare.Just curious.....
