I like to post about these milestones -they feel important to me. I've written over 1000 aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer articles. And I must remind myself that I also regularly write for a few other sites such as Luxistwatches-dealer, AskMenwatches-dealer, and more (see all my current work on the About page here). So the total watch articles I have written since starting in late 2007, is over 2000. But aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer being my own place, I think 1000 here is still pretty impressive. I wonder if I put it all in a single book, how many pages it would be? I think we are talking more than War & Peace here. If the marketing people find a way to trigger the male testerone factor in such a manner that it will encompass all aspects of maleness or lack of, then they will sell product. All sorts of latent messages can be contained in just a few words or a select group can be a target. Most of us are not aware of why we purchase certain items or brands but believe me it isn't a decision that we made independent of outside influence. Think about it!:eek:

Actually, I think I owe him a bit more than that. After seeing his post on Galco, I was now familiar with the brand. I know that he sold his shortly after it's arrival, so I figured the one that showed on the 'bay was his. After the arrival, I am guessing that it was not.None the less - a cool vintage diver is now on my wrist. I apologize for the quick and dirty pics - I should have wiped it down a bit more to show how good of shape this watch is really in. It is stellar!Take care all!B

Have been staying away from AP for a while. Good to be back with this beauty.I actually bought a SS Novelty yesterday. Sold it back to seller today and got this instead. Will use this piece as a beater! Hope it will hold up well.I am happy man now.

Does placing a special order with AD work timely?
I'm ready to add a Hulk to my collection, and for what it is worth, I've wanted the LV long before it became the big thing. Now that I have funds in hand ready to go, I've contacted several AD's about being added to their wait list, and they have all encouraged me to special order the Hulk through them. One AD specifically told me today ..The best option, and the one I would recommend if you know with absolute certainty that this watch is the one you want, is to come in and place a special order for it, at which point we would order that watch specifically for you. Our most recent wait times for the green dial Submariner have been about 3-6 months, but Rolex does generally prioritize filling paid orders.Does anyone here have experience with placing a special order, high demand Rolex here in the U.S.? Did the AD deliver? What kind of time frame did it take? I really appreciate any help. Oh, and for whatever it's worth, I am not willing to pay a reseller a price over MSRP.
