Breitling A1736402/BA30-ocean-racer-black-folding wrist watches news:
One of the benefits to owning a Rolex is (was?) the fact they held their value compared to other watches so well. This was always a plus to me and one of various reasons I chose Rolex. The first Rolex I owned some years go (A GMT) I owned for 3 years and sold a very close to what the MSRP was when I got it.It seems to me, with the advent of places like Ebay, the many non AD on the 'net selling at well below MSRP (and clearly some are willing to take the chance of dealing with non AD to save the $$$ or such sites would not continue to exist...) and added to that, a glut of used Rolex on the market due to the economy, my impression is used Rolxe's are not holding their value as they once did.You can get used Rolex for approx 50% MSRP used easily enough, which seems quite a bit lower then it used to be. I sold 2 Rolexes for much higher then that, and they sold quickly, prior to all the above factors reducing their values. My impression is, a used Rolex seems to sell for about the same $$
Hey Milos,I'm curious as to find out how long it takes Patek to produce a 5146 (just estimates are fine) and approximately how many pieces they produce per year of just this model. Is it an even split between the gold models (J/G/R) and Platinum? Thanks!
Last night I pulled my Breitling Chrono GT out of the box to get it ready to wear today, and I noticed that the pointer at 12:00 is missing! I had taken several pictures of it lately, so I went back to see if the pointer was in the pictures I had taken. It was there for the earlier pictures, but not for the later ones. I can't believe I didn't notice it missing when I took them.I live in a small town in Western North Carolina, and I have no idea where an AD might be located. In any event, it probably isn't close. I'm wondering if anyone on this forum can tell me whether I could order a new one along with the screw through the mail, and how I would go about doing it. Thanks!Before...After...
An AP is simply a little bit too expensive for me right now.To top that, I love even more than the AP how this shares a similar (slightly different and nicer look IMO), much lighter, and a leather strap which I ideally prefer.I'm really keen on buying this, however just sort of held back by the hate on Hublot.I don't believe Hublot is a fashion brand like some claim. It definitely is a high end brand, but just not one that has been around for too long.Thoughts?
If money , price doesnt count. ONly based on the look and the beauty of the watch. Which one ?
