One of my favorite A. Lange & Sohne watch designs of all time is the famous Datograph - and to think the design is over 11 years old now! For 2012 Lange is revisiting the Datrograph with a new and updated model that retains the desirability of the original watch. The new model will be called the Datograph Up/Down (Update: it was originally called the Datograph AUF/AB in German, but they changed the name to English).The original Datograph was named as such because in addition to the time, it featured a big-date indicator (which Lange called its "out-sized date") and a 30 minute chronograph. The "Datograph" name summed all that up nicely. Is there a "Break In" period???
Should I be expecting a greater +/- initially with my Pam000? Also, my AD said there is a 40 hour reserve. On gemnation it says that it has a 56 hour reserve. Anyone know?If I forget to wind my watch in the morning and wind it at night, is it okay to wind it again the next morning? In other words, can I wind the watch too much?Yes, this is my first manual wind, sorry if the questions are a little too basic for you guys! Remember you are the masters, I am only the student! Looking for good AD in the carribean
People are always teling me that watches are much cheaper in the Carribean, but where exactly are these great Omega AD exactly? Do they even exist? I may go on a vacation in the new year and grab a watch at the same time. Any help would be appreciated. PM's welcome. thanks.
