Popular “budget” brand, Techn¨¦ looks to have another winner on their hands with the recently released Merlin Collection. The military inspired pieces – reminiscent of airplane cockpit instrumentation and early mil watches – are available in a time (with seconds) only or a multi-function version. ?The movement inside of each is a Seiko Instruments quartz movement, specifically the VD78.A quick look at the specs reveal a very moderate 38mm size with 20mm lugs and a mineral crystal. Water resistance is shallow at 50M, which is logical for a watch with pilot-styling. The watch has a number of options for the strap at purchase: NATO, canvas or cowhide leather options are available for each model. Constellation questions.
I was wondering if anybody has any knowledge of whether Omega may be coming out with a slightly larger version of the Constellation. I really want to get a quality dress watch and have been hesitant to get the Constellation because of the small size. Currently I am comparing it to the Tag Heuer, but I still prefer Omega. The Double Eagle is a little larger, but the bracelet was not comfortable on me.Any comments are appreciated.

Sea-Dweller Question
I just joined the elite watch world (at least in my opinion) by adding a Sea-Dweller. My previous watches were Movado watches and while they got the job done, the Rolex Sea-Dweller is just a beatiful time piece that I plan to cherish foreverI'm a bit upset at myself for not buying the watch in February when I 1st decided that this was my favorite watch in the under $6,000 price range. When I went to the AD I was shocked to see the price increase but the AD was nice enough to give me the old price so I couldn't complain. I guess it cost me a few hundred dollars waiting 2 monthsAnyhow, on to my question....I think my Rolex is screwy, for some reason the date changes at 9PM instead of midnight, what is the deal with that? Is this a Rolex thing or is my watch messed up?Thanks in advanceLarry

NEW Diver landed this weekend
First I want to take the time to thank everyone here for the warm wishes and all the pics they posted of their Divers. Everyone has been great in answering questions and welcoming me to the AP section of the forum. So thank you to all.I ended up purchasing my Diver from Mosco (Greg). He has been a great friend of mine over the last several years and it was nice to be able to give him some of my limited business. I dont purchase a large amount of watches so when i do if i can buy one from a buddy that makes it better for me. Obviously there are several great TRF dealers here that could have taken care of me and some even offered (Davidson for one). But I just had to get it from Greg. I hate to drive it in the ground but he was outstanding to deal with. (for those of you who have not dealt with him) If you NEED a diver, contact Mosco cause i think he has a few incoming if not just laying around.
