Rolex and BMW Owners
An appreciation for quality extends to all aspects of our lives.JBH's thread on Montblanc got me thinking about automobiles.I also own a few Montblanc's, but I also own several BMW's and have seen pics of Steve's 7 series and JBH's 3 series. Who else on this forum shares a passion for fine engineering of the BMW persuasion?I think this would make for an interesting thread as to our tastes for watches juxtaposed against our tastes in cars.Non BMW owners are free to share their automobile passions as well for this thread.My particular passion is for the 1980's BMWs as evidenced below. I feel this vintage of BMW's had the iconic style that was their signature for so many years. In contrast, my Rolex preferences are split between vintage vs. current models. Watch Magazines
Anyone have a favorite watch magazine? I have a few favorites, but have become a big fan of 'Revolution' magazine. It has a great mix of technical, business, culture, lifestyle, and personality stories associated with watches...all tied together with great pics and some humor. Recently, they did a great piece on Rolex - both the history and an inside tour story by the magazine's founder, Wei Koh. I recommend it to anyone who has not checked it out. Another good magazine is 00/24, although it is very hard to find in the US. They used to carry it at B&N but no more. I communicated by email with their subscription department in the Netherlands but was unable to coordinate with the currency exchange and all. Anyone know how to get it here? Thanks.-Ross

Shopping Angst...
So, I was at my local dealer today, looking at what they had to offer, and two pieces caught my eye:(borrowed photos)Man, I just couldn't decide. I was also looking at the Carlos Coste:To be honest, though, the Coste, nice as it was, was really too big. Not so much in diameter, but in height. So, I'm torn between the two watches above. The TT3 has a funky clasp; not weak or cheap; just funky in its' design. I did, however, really like the diamter, which is 43.5mm. The TT1 Diver was sweet. Nice and hefty.The dealer gives me a 20% discount because my company buys a lot of watches from them. I could get both of the watches for some pocket change under two grand.If you were going to pick one, which would it be, and why?

I was just wondering if anyone has or has had any problems and or experinces with this brand, I just kinda stumbled across them, they have a few appealing models featuring automatic movements, they also have some models with the swiss rhonda quartz movements. Does anyone have any wrist shots of theirs?
