Breitling a1733010/c756-3ct wrist watches news:
My copy of Rene Rondeau's book arrived today. I went through the pictures and skimmed a bit of the text. There's a wealth of information in between the covers. I'll probaby get through the chapters in between my other reading over the next week or two.
Ended up with one more Swiss Legend, this time an Eograph. Swiss quartz, Chinese assembled, mineral crystal with a sapphire coating. For $69, it is a nice watch. Probably going to end up being my work watch as it has a lower profile than the SL Expedition I got a few weeks ago.Has a big face and features the day and date, which are easily read. Actually, it is a nice light, unobtrusive watch and I was able to leave it on my wrist while I played golf this afternoon.
So I love my steel 44mm ROO, enjoying it immensely.I told myself that I was going to get one AP, and that was the one. And it is.(insert I told you so remark here...)But I'm smitten by the carbon version of the watch, and also with the Jarno Trulli. For me, the steel model will stand the test of time in that I feel it will still retain its character after 20 years. But thinking of picking up a second one... My constraints are that I do wear suits most of the time, so the only options that I'm looking at that are subtle enough, if that even is a fair term here, are the ROO 44mm carbon and the Jarno Trulli. For those of you who currently own or have owned a carbon case AP, let me ask an honest question: have you grown tired of the look? If you can share any experiences on owning an exotic material cased piece how long it has stayed in your favor.I have to admit the carbon is very comfortable to wear. Thanks again guys, looks like I'm going to totally slide down the AP slope....Oh and some pi
Does this guy have an AP RO Chrono on?I found it fitting if it were per the article context, where photo is taken.
You cant hold it under running water for various reasons obviously. Do you just wipe it with a dry cloth?
