Chopard 158565-3001 wrist watches news:
Check out the donk for the watch in auction 270839653662.I'm reminded of coastcat's recent "speechless" thread.Someone obviously had a higher purpose for the 982M and swapped it for a low grade Swiss movement. Probably dropped the 982M into a Patek or somesuch.
Does any know of the differences between the Wolf Designs 2.0 and 2.7 modules.I am thinking of a 2.0 three space winder one of the sponcers has one for about $300.00.It sounds like a good deal.ThanksBrian
Hi all.I'm going to be buying a watch in October and I have a ?500 budget (or $750-$822 depending on currency conversion). What are people's suggestions on what my next watch should be?It would need to be automatic but there isn't a specific style that I am wanting - it could be sporty, dressy, diver, pilot etc.I realise that this opens the floor to a huge range of watches however I will consider each and every suggestion.Once my decision has been made I will let you all know and also post customery wrist-shot pics! Many thanks in advance.
It¡¯s been roughly two and a half months since I¡¯ve come into owning the Forged Carbon Diver from Audemars Piguet. It¡¯s usually at the two month mark that I feel like I¡¯ve really gotten to know my watches so I¡¯ve become accustomed to thinking about and writing about my pieces critically at this point in my ownership (although I needed the extra two weeks or so to get my ass around to writing). This particular watch, affectionately known as the ¡°Diver Bee¡±, has become a favorite in my collection, and below I will explain why. First, some background: This is actually my second Diver. I purchased my original Stainless Steel Diver in May of 2012. As many on this forum have come to find, it¡¯s a particularly loveable watch. The Diver lineage is one of the finest in the Audemars Piguet family. Its versatility is simply unmatched in my humble belief. I wore my Stainless Diver everywhere, and it¡¯s accumulated a few ¡°love marks¡± in its first full year of ownership under my guise. The Forged Carbo
The 5146 is mine but I keep coming back to the 3940. If I do take the plunge I ll have to trade in the 5146. Pros for the 3940- I much prefer the dial layoutIts a perpetual calendar (compared to annual 5146)I think the size fits my wrist (6.75in) and would fit well under a shirt cuffCons-The dials seemed difficult to read but it was very poor lighting when I tried it onWill I end up regret going for a smaller watch? (I know, only I can answer that)Older model (2005)I will have to shell out ¡ê14k and trade in my 5146 for itPros for the 5146-The dial size and brown (thicker) strap make this a good casual wearerI do like the dial and I'm very fond of the leaf handsIt's a newer model (2007)Cons-It's not a perpetual Sometimes I think the case is a little too thick (that was only after I saw the 3940)Poor picture but it gives you an idea.A couple of wrist shots:AndI do have a tendency to get bored and look around for something else. I have been a flipper in the past but I'm trying to consolid
