I have been trying to look up this company on the net and I am not finding much on them, I know they became LaJoux-Parret. I am trying to find out if anyone has any information on their quality.

Who swims or bathes with their apro on ??I'm not talking off shores here just royal oaks!I was worried if I could trust the designation given that often water resistance is measures in static pressure not dynamic. Ie. the pressure exerted on the watch case while swimming front crawl is thought to be equivalent to 70m static pressure. Hence rolex oysters 100m being termed swim proofAnyway- i wrote to AP with my query and they confirmed swimming and showering is fine

Introducing my new Baby...Breitling Superocean II Abyss Silver 42mm!!
Let me introduce you to the newest member of my Breitling family, the Breitling Superocean II Abyss Silver 42mm. Not long ago I parted with a Superocean and the family felt a void. So when I saw a buddy selling¡I pounced. I love the size; 42mm is a great size for both casual and dress. Breitling¡¯s 44mm¡¯s which I also love, but they don¡¯t usually go under a long sleeve very well. I like the Silver inner ring due to being more universal and less trendy but the blue & yellow I would not turn down! The rubber insert on the bezel is cool and the lume is great especially for a Breitling. What¡¯s a little unique about this Abyss is the bracelet has been slightly brushed instead of the high polished look it came with. This little touch I really like and might not be your cup of tea but now you¡¯ve something to compare. Overall I give the newest Breitling family member¡two thumbs up!!

Speedmaster and Water .. a no no?
Hey all,Ive finally chosen and am set on an omega speedy pro for my daily wearer however have read a few posts referring to them like cats near water.. i want to be able to put the watch on my wrist and not take it off. Will a speedy be ok in the shower/pool? should i re-consider or will it stand up ok?Any comments or experience is greatly appreciated.Chris
