Why oh why can't there be some cool cult watch made popular by being on Harrison Ford's wrist in one of his movies? Seriously, not even Indiana Jones wore a timepiece. That is totally a character that would wear a watch! Something like a Hamilton military watch or similarwhoa! I am getting ahead of myself here.No, Han Solo never wore a wrist instrument either. Hello I wanted to get opinions on the 15300OR in rose gold on a strap (white dial) as a watch that I could both dress up and down. Before I tried this watch on yesterday I was looking into a Patek 5296 in white gold as a dress watch. But when I tried this watch on I basically fell in love with it. I had always been hesitant in purchasing a gold watch because of my age (17) I didn’t think that I was old enough to pull off a gold watch. I need a watch that I can use as a dress watch but when I tried this watch on it also felt a slight bit causal. So my question, do you guys think this watch works for both a dress watch and a casual watch or do you think it only does one category well.

So I finally got one sealed and to be quiet honest, I'm moderately underwhelmed. Not sure why they are in such demand as my 5167 is a better go to piece IMO. Anyway, not sure if I gong to keep it or flip it at this point. Cheers.

Watch storage temperature
Good afternoon all, apologies if this sounds stupid!I returned home from holiday last night. This morning I went to take my watches out of the safe to give them a good wind and introduce them to my new BLNR. Lol. I noticed the safe was pretty cold to the touch (as it¡¯s been very cold in the U.K. this week) and also the contents too. Including the watches regardless of being in their travel pouches. Would being stored in a cold environment cause some internal damage over time perhaps to the oils and lubricants? Or if I¡¯m winding them once a week should this prevent any problem? I¡¯m sure there¡¯s nothing to worry about but just wanted your opinions. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
