Jaeger LeCoultre 134.84.20 wrist watches news:
I'm not gonna lie. I'm currently wearing this Benrus freshly back from service but only because I found that the Aquatel I was going to wear wasn't running and I needed something to grab in a hurry. This one cleaned up nice during it's service and needs a new pic to show how it shines now where it didn't before.I am going to switch later today to the 1960 Baron.
Just found a driving clock that I really really liked at a nearly-new/used sale, and a quick Google Search yields me only this picture: doxawatches/detail_pages/8d_sm_02.jpgIt's pretty beat up inside (although the crystal looks pretty reasonable and it still winds). Is it worth the $75 (which apparently it was appraised at much higher, and I trust them, it's a charity sale for a hospital nearby. Also, I got a non-working Bulova Accutron rectangular gold watch (looks like its from the 50s/60s) for 50c. Is it worth the money to get either of these repaired/refurbished?- especially the driving clock, is it any good to get it maybe made into a pocketwatch?
That new watch itch is driving me crazy. I currently have an Exp 1 and LvC and am thinking about buying the PAM 000. With the new U.S. price reduction it is even more tempting. However, I could also see myself flipping it down the road. If I can get it from an AD 10% under do you think that would prevent me from taking a big hit if I flipped it within the year?
Has anyone here had experience in purchasing from a UK dealer and dealing with import customs details? On a $7,000.00 USD watch, what will duties actually be and how do I approach the process? Looking for an approximate cost I should add to the purchase price to bring it home. Thanks for any input!
There are so many variants of the DJ41 that it¡¯s time to have pictures of them in one thread....so come on, show us yours!I¡¯m loving my DJ41. Jubilee, fluted bezel, and slightly chameleon white dial.
