I think I missed a good one...
I found a poorly listed Omega DeVille Moonphase automatic on Flebay last night! This seller did not have a clue what they had...I researched it a little before the auction ended but came up with very little info. The Model # on the case back was 999/555. Does anyone have a clue what this thing is? It only sold for $108.00! Just wondering if I missedthat deal of the century or what. lol

HELP - Khaki appears broken 2804 mov't??
My brand new Khaki Field Mechanical seems like it may be broken. I'm not sure so this is a more general question for our technical experts, does the crown winding system disengage once the watch is fully wound? Can you still turn the crown with no resistance or does the crown stop moving and lock?I need to know if I should return it to that OTV place OF COURSE. Seems they can't ship a watch that isn't broken IMHO.It's got a warranty card with it for that TMI or whatever place. The card is 1/2 in x 1 inch - literally. The type is so SMALL I need my loupe to read it. I'm not kidding. The repair place is in my old hometown of Brookyn, NY. which makes me NOT want to trust it even more.Any suggestions?

Was wondering when one of the blogs would do a piece about this model.I've seen the advertisement with Clooney wearing it, but didn't realize it had the line George Clooney¡¯s Choice. Not a fan of celebrity attachments to watches, but at least it's not stamped on the watch, or called something terrible like the Clooney Limited edition. I guess they could have done a lot worse when it comes to brand ambassadors.Still haven't had time to check out the bracelet version, but I think it looks great in pictures..ablogtowatch/omega-sp...vintage-watch/
