Rose Gold Day/Nite and a Green Enamel Elgin
Title says most of it. My great friend Greg sent me some pieces that he got for me from the meet with Ben, Stan, and Jesse. I was lucky enough to be the benefactor of one of my most coveted and adored watches, and a special little piece that I have never seen before. This marks my 11th Gruen watch and they're all special and unique, but this is probably more collectable than any of my other collection. A rose gold Day Nite??? Are you kidding me? The YG ones and SS ones are unique, but Rose Gold? Get out of here GregWhere in the world do you find stuff like this? Thank you of course should also go to Jesse for servicing the watches too. It was funny, the Day/Nite was changing the plate a little early, and as I'm on the phone with Jesse I hear something that I assume is Tink, but Jesse says "I hope you don't mind, but I've completed both watches" in the 15 minute segment we were talking, without missing a word he is just that good. First AP thoughts...
Hello. First post here. I know there's similar threads here, so any thoughts appreciated.....I've only had REAL passion for Rolex up to this point, it's all I wear. But, I am beginning to entertain thoughts of an AP. I like the pics of the sport themed AP's, I have mostly sport in my Rolex collection. Anyone find themselves going, or have gone down this same path? Any thoughts on.....did you do it? Are you glad? Any regrets? How you feel now about diversifying? Thoughts on sport AP? Thanks for any help/insight

Not sure if you've seen it yet, but wanted to mention that the new December issue of WatchTime is out and features the new extra-thin 39MM AP Royal Oak. Mine (magazine...unfortunately not an AP) just arrived in the mail. Great shot on the cover and a 15-page review including a disassembled view of the movement. Lots of other great info and articles...even has an article on Arnold's AP collection
