The Swiss watch industry has not recovered from the Great Recession of 2009. But Baselworld showed that it is recuperating. Latest Project - Gruen Pan Am
Since it's gone so quiet in here, I'll post my latest project arrival (Vendor's photos) - even though it is a work in progress, and you will see many many things wrong. All three hands are wrong. It is is very old redial, the case is a little worn on the lug tips, and the hairspring is kinda funky.Cleaned up the dial and case. Being an older redial, not sure if this dial is worth keeping - but it did clean up enough to be usable - it'll look OK with crystal and hands in place.Likewise, case has its shortcomings, but 200% better than when it arrived.Currently servicing the movement...
