Can you over wind the Seiko 7S26 OM
I've been sitting here shaking and turning and moving it for almost an hour (I'm OCD) and I can here a ratcheting sound inside. Does that sound stop when it is fully wound? Can you over wind it? Should I not shake it for an hour? Yes I'm in the market for a watch winder.

im not sure of the model number.I saw one in a flea market with an original fishnet(sort of) bracelet.what's a reasonable price for it assuming 100% authentic?Dial looks aged but running fine. Plexi looks too new to be original though.It's an auto watch but the seller says I need to move the date wheel by turning from 9 to 3 and then 3 to 9...etc..sorry...but im a noob with omegas..just find the dial mesmerising.

I am selling my flat in Paris and amongst other things have decided to¡­. Of course, get my 5712 back, well won't be the same but a BNIB like my first, and I have been thinking a lot about what third watch I should add, thought of a RM, 055 black or 35-01, but have realized I have not reached the level in my watch journey where I would feel comfortable wearing a 80-100K watch on the wrist, maybe one day when I'm older or my funds are much greater.Have also thought of getting the Lange Perpetual Datograph, but same having that kind of money on the wrist is a little too much for me at the moment, and the serious weight would bother me, also I'm not really a leather guy, and I don't think that it would look nice with a rubber strap, though a grey one might look cool with the grey fail, but animals it's out.I had also thought about getting an RG watch, AP at first either the 44 but I'm afraid it will be too heavy for me and as much as I love RG I'm french and for those who know the french w

Parts and Service for Panerai
Apparently Richemont in the US has now adopted a policy where they refuse to sell parts of all the watches in their stable to anyone who is not associated with Richemont. I have been told the same kind of Policy has been adopted by Rolex and others. That makes things very difficult for those who don't have a descent AD associated with Richemont. Richemont in Ft Worth is no longer returning calls about service of their brands.While they own IWC, there are still IWC centers where service can be had descently for watches out of warranty, like Superior Watch Service in New York. However Panerai is not one that I can find any reliable service for. Possibly in the future I will just have to avoid purchase of any of the brands owned by Richemont and possibly divest myself of my Panerai's.

After going through the Panerai website this afternoon, I see more of a mix of 40, 42, 44, 45 and 47mm watches that we have seen in the past.True, there have always been the 40mm (Pam 48-50), the 42mm (Pam 98 and 141), 44mm of course, Radiomirs in 45mm and the big Luminor cases.....but I see a few 42mm with the Radiomir 1940 case....and I think there was also a white dialed/date that stood out to me.Is this the start of a trend for Panerai?Elliot
