IWC IW927045 wrist watches news:
Recently added a third old chronograph by Lemania that is in the Omega 1940 catalog as complete watch with only dial marking changed. The thick rigid case uses a lead gasket and was designed and built by Lemania, including the complex dial. I do not know of an earlier waterproof Omega chronograph. This 2 button version was a design change on an earlier single button in 1935. Do not know when this case was first used, but after 1935. I have single button serial 105 of 1932 that Omega also used. The 2 button shown here is serial 14000 exactly. No other movement markings because not originally sold in U.S. Omego used the same complex 3 color calibrations dial. This one is all original. I am tempted to say the band is also. It is very old and a fine grain lizard skin right for water. Advertised it was specially treated for water use. Both are fine performers with perfect hand registration on the fine resolution scales. Mido Multifort waterproofs of same age and others used lead and cor
Does anyone know where I could buy a cheaper version of a watch that looks like this, face/band and all? It can even be the same one but at a cheaper price, any help? It's a Guess cuffband watch, not sure of the model number
As requested by Patrick (PSV) and Thomas (TSW)....I finally got round to doing this. Took the hornback of the Safari and stuck it on the Diver...I have to say I'm quite enjoying the look. The contrasting colours give the watch a very different look - and the quality of the hornback adds a nice touch. Very comfortable onMakes me want a black hornback even more...and a bracelet of courseWhat do you guys reckon?
Hi Guys,I visited a few AD's in the Bay Area and all seem to have the black date submariner in stock amongst some other SS models like the GMT. I thought the black submariner with date would be a hard to get item but that doesn't seem like the case, specially in the Bay area...however the batman, hulk, daytona c are not available.I am looking for the black submariner with date...should I buy it from AD if its available? Can you guys please shed some light on this..Thanks!!
Where is the best place here to put the word out about my SS Daytona white dial missing for a week?
