Are you ready for a watch like this? Is anyone ever really ready for a watch like this? Among his many watches, Alain Silberstein offers some tourbillon models. Less popular today, a few years ago these iconoclastic tourbillon timepieces really offered something very different. Take this Black Storm model (ref. TS511) that combines his playful French design, an interesting tourbillon movement, and urban toned camouflage.The idea is really when you get to a watch like a tourbillon reason loses a lot of meaning. Art is what makes sense and here Alain Silberstein is having fun (like he always does). Not everyone is a fan of his aesthetic - that is OK. First watch of the year
Well I guess that didn't take very long! Brand used Datejust, D serial with the newer clasp. This replaces a TT DJ I had but sold as I realized I am not really a gold watch person myself. This one is identical with the exception of the gold bits. Kind of a crappy picture but I took it pretty quick, never even set the date.All the best,Keith

Incoming..DISASTER!
Well I finally got around to getting a propper strap for My Grandfathers Timex Electric. It is a dark brown Bund strap(thanks ChronoWorld)It fits perfectly and makes the watch pop. I put it on and headed outside for some wrist shots and BANG! It fogged up...bad. So I took it back in sideand poped off the case back to dry it out. I could not remove the movement. I then realized the chrystal had to be removed to get the movement out. I began to carefully press and heard a small "crack"...I panicked..I put the battery back in and .........nothing..I could not get it started again.....my heart sank. I took it to Lou to see if he could work his magic on it as I so wanted to wear it and share it with all of you. Alas Lou could do nothing except politley scold me. This is of course a watch with no signifigant retail value but itis one of three items left to me by my Grandfather. Strap options for 41mm ROC
Hey guys, I'm looking for suggestions for strap options for my 41mm rose gold royal oak chrono. Best places to get them? Mine is on the black alligator strap with the RG folding clasp, but it's slightly uncomfortable while i'm breaking it in, and the clasp folds the wrong way (compared to my Rolexes) so that the end of the folded clasp is pressed right against the inside bone in my forearm/wrist.What do you guys think?
