The Speedmaster Professional has since its introduction in 1957 come in a truly bewildering variety of shapes, sizes, designations and limited editions, but one of the most polarizing models, when it appeared, was the X-33. The X-33 was introduced, in the first version, in 1998; it was the result of an Omega development program designed to (finally) produce a multifunction quartz watch that would be a completely modern successor to the mechanical Speedmaster Professional, and that would meet up to date NASA and ESA requirements for a flight-qualified timepiece. It was an ambitious project, which took place over the course of five years, and prototypes were flight-tested by both American and European astronauts; the first version of the X-33 would go on to be used by U.S., European, and Soviet astronauts on the Space Shuttle, the Mir Space Station, and other missions and it was used by military flight crews as well. Just in, some quick specs..The bi-compax arrangement dial with no date is made by MOM Le Prelet exclusively for Chronoswiss, with applied RC TRITEC C3 Super-LumiNova? , numbers and chapter ring in matte black , the hands made by Aiguilla exclusively for Chronoswiss, are also in matte black .Case is 40mm by 12mm , 20mm lugs , overall it is an impeccable, very detailed case work that takes a front, slightly domed sapphire crystal coated with AR in the inside and an exhibition flat sapphire caseback, case and leather strap both are 100meters waterproof , well balance on the wrist and comfortable.The movement is the 29 jewels Chronoswiss C.763 which start as a Top Grade 7750, heavily modified to support a fly-back chonograph function,the 30-minute counter is then moved to the "3" position adding a gear train, glucydur balance and incabloc are of course, part of the deal and so are the fully decorated with cotes de Geneve and perlage plates.The watch has been spot on with my atomic cloc

Help with rubber strap size
Hi guys,I've just picked up a PAM01312 last week and so far loving it. Though I find the standard rubber strap size that it came with is a bit long for my wrist. I normally wear it at the 2nd last hole and the end/tail tends to protrude out a lot, kind of annoying as well. Just want to ask if anyone here has the XS size OEM rubber strap and can give comment on the size difference and the fit. My AD won't accept return/refund for straps, hence I just want to make sure that the XS size wouldn't protrude as much.Appreciate your help!
