Super Engineer II + Seiko Monster
Picked up a Seiko Monster recently (SRP311) and decided it needed a new bracelet. I managed to get the original bracelet sized properly and didn't lose any collars (I am not a fan). I wore it for a week and constantly checked the bracelet to make sure one of the collars didn't fall out (okay, I'm anal). I had purchased a Super Engineer II before and loved what it did for my Victorinox Mach 6. Strapcode had a 20mm black model and now I have one too. Heck of a lot easier to size. Oh, did I mention, it's extremely comfortable. No it's not cinched super tight, just my contortion to shoot a wrist selfie. I do wear my watches tight enough that they don't move. edison

Mentalized with Swiss Made?
Ok, here's the question, and related EXCLUSIVELY ON QUARTZ, WHY are the Swiss Made movements better than the Japanese Made Seiko or Citizen???Is this a real thing? or are we just mentalized as beign made in Switzerland makes it better?I have several Swiss Made quartz, from Omega, passing by Tag, ending in Invicta, and they work fine, but are not more accurate as the Seikos or Citizens, and some are so cheapos that I doubt they are better than a SeikoAs example, have two very nice Tissots (PRS516 Retrograde, and PRS200) nice from the outside, but with a cheap G15 movement in two different versionthe movement itself costs $35 to $50 online, and they don't have nothing special in the one that are inside the Tissot, exactly the same plain movement that can be bought onlineand as some know I hate these sealed unserviceable movementsof course that for the cost, it's easier to replace the whole movement...BTW, I had a defective mevement in the PRS516, and Tissot charged $140 for the replaceme

Odd bracelet try on
So, I tried on some RO's today and found something odd. I have a 6.5 wrist that is more oval than round. I tried on a 41mm RO and bracelet wrapped well around, I tried on a 37mm RO and it was the same nice wrap. So, they had a gold blue dial 39mm and the bracelet couldn't wrap my wrist. It was bending in on itself and not touching my skin all the way around. Anyone else ever experience this? Basically 41mm is too big for a dressy watch for my wrist and the 37mm is a little small, but the bracelet on the 39mm was odd fitting.Thoughts?

40mm Submariner vales to skyrocket
I am looking for a new Submariner 40mm date at UK AD but cant find one currently.Could a new 43mm Submariner with the new movement will be showcased at Basel 2018? Three London AD have advised me to wait till May 2018 as they are changes in the Submariner line in regards to size and lug proportion.
