Bulgari DG35BG wrist watches news:
The recently announced Perrelet Turbine watch (that I discussed here) has proved extremely popular, which is a good thing because this new video sheds more light upon this impressive timepiece. You get not only a great view of the watch in action, but a good understanding of how the double rotor system is engineered. Seeing the watch in the video in operation allows me to appreciate this desirable timepiece all the more.In particular I like how the crown is not actually pulled out much, but has a fold-out flap that allows for adjustment and manual winding (if necessary). This is done to allow for the crown to be flush with the case. The look is very uniform and instead of just looking like an instrument watch, the whole design has a very technical feel. Watching the turbine in action is a high point, and I think I would sit there and shake my arm around just to see the automatic movement winding itself. Overall, this is going to be one of Perreleta€?s flagship designs of 2009 and 2010,
What is the biggest difference in quality between Tudor and Rolex besides movement? Are Tudors more machine made? Of course with this watch being lower end than a Rolex, I read the term it's a poor man's Rolex, regardless it's made by Rolex which is clearly great so I'm sure these are good quality watches.
Anyone have recommendations on where to service my omega speedmaster in san francisco? also how much is the service usually cost? thanks.
The debate is finally over! I had debated for a long time on adding a Aquanaut 5167 to my collection which already included a blue dialed Nautilus 5711. I was worried that the watches were too similar and I wasn't sure how that would impact the wrist time of the two pieces. Making the decision even more difficult was the fact that I couldn't find an Aquanaut anywhere to actually try on so I could actually compare it to the 5711. I saw one in NYC recently but as expected it was in the Patek box and I could only admire it thru the plastic window. Anyway...decided to pull the trigger and I couldn't be more happy! What a comfortable watch. IMHO it does have a lot of similarities to the 5711 but the rubber strap really does give it a completely different feel. I wouldn't be a watch addict without noting that I always thought I would pick up the 5167 and then possibly upgrade to a 5164 later on. I still think that could happen BUT it probably will take me longer to make that move si
